Jehovah or "yahweh" ?

One of the most salient points is here:

the simplicity of the real issues

And also:

theophoric names begin with Jeho - chart !!

The Jehovah express can simply understand those basics!

Nehemia Gordon
"Have you been praying to Jupiter" - Feb, 2015

The audio can be found behind his modest contribution wall, and sometimes here and there on the net.
And I plan to do a summary review, combined with time-stamps from the talk.

extracts from "Praying to Jupiter" by Nehemia Gordon

Facebook - May, 2017 discussion thread on Nehemia's timeline

Facebook - Jan, 2017 - PureBible group

Interestingly, until about 1997, hardly anybody noted the simple vocalization truth.
yahweh = jove
jove-pater is jupiter
calling on yahweh is calling upon the pagan devil jupiter, Jupiter is father yahweh
That means that a prayer to yahweh is a prayer to a devil.

Nehemia makes this exceedingly clear, here are two quotes:

"Have you been praying to Jupiter?"
"The greatest trick Jupiter ever pulled was convincing the world he isn't worshiped."

(more commentary on Nehemiah in short thread.)

In the review post, I tried to catch a lot of the good quotes and spots with time-stamps.
What was missing?
“Have you been Praying to Jupiter”? - by Nehemia Gordon Jove==Yahweh understanding...
(There are other interviews, e.g. with Michael Rood.)

Revealed! The Name of God (with Michael Rood & Nehemia Gordon) - Shabbat Night Live - 10/21/16
Nehemiah begins at 33:25, the good section is around 40:00

Gesenius page showing how he actually used the Jupiter connection in favor of the pagan yahveh, placed on Pinterest by Nehemiah Gordon

"To give my own opinion, I suppose this word to be one of the most remote antiquity, perhaps of the same origin as Jovis, Jupiter, and transferred from the Egyptians to the Hebrews." Gesenius' Hebrew Chaldee Lexicon Old Testament Scriptures, translated by Tregelles, 1857, page 337. The words in brackets are the commentary of the translator.
[What an idea! God himself revealed this as his own name; the Israelites could never have received it from the Egyptians]...- Samuel Prideaux Tregelles, translator and commentary
The Gesenius conjectural blunder opens up the Egyptian and Latin paganism theories.

Carl D. Franklin

"Yahweh is not the name of the God of the Old Testament. Its history can be traced back to the idolatrous worship of the Canaanite peoples who were a stumbling block to the children of Israel from the time they entered the Promised Land. The name Yahweh was well known to the worshipers of Baal, including the infamous Jezebel, under whose influence Baalism became the dominant religion in the land of Israel.

It is time to expose the demonic spirit behind the name Yahweh and to stop the spread of this name among those who profess to worship the God of the Bible."

The Covenant Name of God: Jehovah or Yahweh?
Thomas Ross

".... one would also need to maintain that every name in the Bible that begins with part of the Tetragrammaton has also been corrupted. Jehoadah would really be something like Yahwadah; Jehoahaz would be Yahwahaz; Jehoash would be Yahwahash, and so on. Furthermore, no theophoric names anywhere in Scripture end with an eh, the expected ending were the Name pronounced Yahweh. Similarly, the word Hallelujah and the Greek Alleluia validate the ah at the end of the Divine Name."

Thanks for putting this together Steven!
Most welcome! I’ll try for some expansion of this material in the days ahead. It is our responsibility before the Lord Jesus to affirm our pure scriptures, and to actively counter the plague of yahwehism.

Nehemia just put out a talk about Hebraic souces .. “10 Rabbis...” that looks like it will be prime material.

The two Zohar references are in a recent CARM thread, as well as the Facebook PureBible forum. Incredible!

I’m limited on iPad right now, by Monday will try to have more done.

The lexicon in general use in Germany in the latter part of the eighteenth century was that of I. Simon (1752; 2d ed., 1771). Simon defended the pronunciation Jehovah, which he regarded as representing the three tenses of (Hebrew).

Simonis, Johann, 1698-1768., Johann, 1698-1768
Benedikt Winer did a later edition of this lexicon.

By Shimeon Brisman
Several revised editions of the Lexicon were issued during the next several decades; the best revised edition, prepared by G. B. Winer, was published in Leipzig by Fleischer in 1828. An English edition was published in London in 1832.2

We see Jehova and Elohim are names God's people gave to their creator but we do not know for certain but we know Hebrew did know of his name but to avoid desecration the name was forgotten because of times, errors, and the our language as babylon we cannot pronounce the name correctly. The bible in psalms and proverbs also says his name differently what we can understand his name is also " Strong Tower ". Before the flood their was also another name but we do not know.

Does God have A real name which he told to Adam ? Yes.

We know one day we will know it ! But we can also call him " The God Of Abraham, Isaac, And Jacob" another way we can call him respectively.
