This paper from Elijah Hixon shows that the difference between the BL and Leipzig yellows (Leipzig yellow is significantly paler than BL yellow), is very comparable to the difference in shade between the BL and Leipzig online manuscript pages. .. Your coloring thesis is nothing but a silly conspiracy theory.

Actually, you get snookered by Elijah Hixson sooo easily.
It took me about 30 minutes to read his argument, think about it, and then check and blow his colour chart claim out of the water.

Here is the result of his colour chart study.
And I am using the grey colour because that is obviously much closer to the manuscript colour than the yellow.

If you think the small difference in the colour charts account for the huge difference in the parchment pictures, you really need visual help!
