We have some direct from Victoria

Hello Steven - I have looked at the letters and there is just one in Greek, I attach pictures from the covers of the folders for more information on what is contained - and the one piece that is Greek. There are no letters from Simonides.
Please let me know if you would still like to see the papers, and I will arrange for them to be kept in the room. If so, if you can let me know when you would like to view.
Kind regards
Jane Miller

Some from Paul

Now to what is from Paul Artale from visiting the Library in Messenger

91 page PDF

Oh, yes. The library contents description is wrong; it says two letters from Charles Stewart to Deane but they are by his brother Henry at the family home (Mar 3 1864 and April 20 1864, pp, 19-20). Henry says Simonides was still at the seaside in the first letter.
