In 1658, Curcllaeus published at the famous Elzevir Press, his own edition of the Greek New Testament. It was the first edition, produced by a known editor, to regard the comma Johanneum as inauthentic (he placed the passage in brackets), since Erasmus left it out of his first two editions (1516 and 1519).42

42 An anonymous edition was produced in Paris in 1534, published by Simon de Colines, which left out the comma, but the editor is unknown. On this see Parker (1971:97-102).

And what about Gerbelius, but that was 1521, effected by Erasmus -

Interest in a New Testament printed solely in Greek compelled the German scholar Nicolaus Gerbel (ca. 1485–1560) to urge Erasmus to publish such a volume, even as Erasmus was in the midst of producing his 1516 first edition, which included Greek and Latin in parallel columns. Erasmus maintained this bilingual format for his second edition, published in 1519. Gerbel finally succeeded in obtaining permission to edit the text of Erasmus’s second edition and thus produced the first entirely Greek New Testament in 1521.
