does Carmelo Nicolo Benvenuto miss a Lycourgas reference to Autographa editing before the 1853-54 publication?

You mean the original Autographa forgery defense literature of 1852-1853 sent to Lycurgos for editing?

Do you have the precise reference here?
Presumably it is all in:
"Enthüllungen über den Simonides-dindorfschen Uranios : Zu einem Geschichtsabriss über Simonides"
So a page number will be helpful, is there a post on this question here?

(It does sounds like information that will support the Odessa and Moscow Kallinikos publication in 1853-54. At any event, it is important for Autographa scholarship. From memory, no mention was made of this in the publication by Carmelo Nicolò Benvenuto, and the reference could be forwarded to Carmelo.)

Remember, the issue of whether publications within the Autographa were creative writing from Simonides is quite different than the question of the first publication of the materials, which is a question that arises in the Sinaiticus controversies. One key question is the dating of the publication of the material and whether there was any intent in the publication to support the Simonides narrative on Sinaiticus. My studies to date support the publication dates of 1853-54 as authentic.

CARM - Constantine Simonides & Codex Sinaiticus - The Telegraph of the Bosphorus newspaper articles | Page 6 - #108 TNC - Lycourgos and Benvenuto and Autographa-

Not correct.

I checked the paper from Benvenuto.
Sulla Datazione Degli Autographa Di Costantino Simonidis,
On the dating of the Autographa of Constantine Simonidis -

No reference to Alexandros Lykourgos and no reference to:
"Enthüllungen über den Simonides-dindorfschen Uranios : Zu einem Geschichtsabriss über Simonides"
It looks like one of your memory problems.
When that happens, I know you generally just stonewall and dance.
========================
A very important Hodgkin reference is on p. 192.
Simonides writing from St. Catherine's dated 1852 is on p. 196-197.
This apparently covers material related to Autographa (checking in process.)
Later, there is reference to material directly in the Autographa of 1852 correspondence, Simonides to Kallinikos.
