1 Timothy 3:15-16
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God,
which is the church of the living God,
the pillar and ground of the truth.
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory.

Partly because you can not easily grammatically separate Living God, which is adjectival, from the full phrase "the church of the Living God", and try to make it a distant noun referent.

Using the Greek ultra-minority critical text, with the solecism, this attempt is barely supported by anybody.ACAinstructor said:One of the instances of "incarnation" is 1 Tim 3:16, where Paul uses a relative pronoun to refer back to "The Living God" in v.15, says "who manifest in flesh," ]
